Kara Nursery is a small specialty nursery located in Portland, Oregon. Owned and operated by Lynn-Marie Kara and Luther Sturtevant, we have been growing cacti and other succulents for over 39 years. It all began when Lynn-Marie planted a packet of cactus seeds the year after we got married. We've been at it ever since, for a few years as "Sturtevant's Nursery."

We carry a wide variety of plants, but some of our specialties are Haworthias, Lithops, Echeverias, and anything else that's caught our attention over the years. To order, please print the order form and use traditional mail, including a check or money order made out to Kara Nursery. It's a good idea, though not required, to confirm plant availability by email as well.
