Mammillaria aureilanata var. aureilanata Backeberg
Large pink flowers; the species is considered endangered in habitat (a small area from the state of San Luis Potosí in Mexico). Needs good drainage as it is prone to root rot if permitted to sit in moisture. Mature plants grow to about 10 cm (4").
