Echeveria 'Ron Evans' appears to be the valid name as it is a hybrid by Van Keppel of setosa x amoena, named by Brian Fearn of Abbey Brook Nursery in catalogue of 1988/89. This would give it priority over 'Emerald Ripple'.) However, we have kept 'Emerald Ripple' here, since this is the name people generally associate with this plant.
