Echeverias A - B
The genus Echeveria is named after the 18th century Spanish botanist Atanasio Echeverria Codoy. However, the naming of the species in this genus has become rather complicated, probably due to the ease with which they are hybridized. The plant name on the left (if underlined) provides a link to a photo. The photo is not necessarily the individual plant being sold, but illustrates the species as represented in our collection. Size refers to the current pot size except when the diameter symbol (ø) is used, in which case the approximate diameter of the plant is noted. A + sign indicates shipping may be extra. When ordering, please note the plant name, pot size and price. Thanks. (As always, please double-check for availability.)

Echeveria agavoides 'Prolifera'
AKA "Apple Green"
Out of stock at this time.
When we first obtained this we labeled it "Apple Green" and then simply Echeveria hybrid but finally discerned that it should have been labeled 'Prolifera'. As the name indicates, it produces a quantity of offsets. It has hints of rosey pink on the tip and undersides of the leaves in winter. These tend to stay green in summer, more colorful with pink blush accents during the winter months. (Description based on our experience in Portland.)
Echeveria agavoides 'Red Edge' + (Syns: E. agavoides 'Lipstick', 'Corduroy') Lighter green bodies with bright red edges. With adequate light they keep the red edge to the leaves all through the seasons.
