| Echeveria 'Imbricata' Deleuil | (Invalid syn. Echeveria glaucometallica) This is used as a parent in many of the modern hybrids, and is itself a hybrid developed by Deleuil in France in the late 1800s (Walther, Echeveria, 1972, pg.52), - a cross of E. glauca & E. metallica. It's an easy to grow plant, the heads of which will reach up to 30cm across and eventually form offsets. Should be a part of every collection. Though often referred to as "Hens & Chicks", we prefer to reserve that common name to "Sempervivums", to which they have some resemblance. | 4" |
