To order by internet, simply send an email to the nursery with a list of the plants you wish to purchase. We will then confirm both the availability and the order including shipping and handling. You may then request a PayPal Invoice, from which you can pay using your credit or debit card or you can send a check or money order. We will then ship the plants as soon as possible. We do not have a "shoppng cart" at this time, but we assure you that this will be as fast and as easy, and much more personal.
Please note: Payment is by check, money order, or through PayPal via an email invoice. (In the case of the latter, we would need to confirm the total, plus shipping costs. With PayPal, we would send an email invoice from which payment can be made.)
We are able to ship internationally in most cases ($350.00 minimum), with the exception of any plant listed in CITES (http://www.cites.org/eng/app/E-Jul01.pdf). (Note that though almost all cacti are CITES listed, Haworthias, Lithops and Echeverias are not.) Please inquire via email regarding a specific country and the plants you wish to purchase, and note below the extra charge for a Phytosanitary Certificate. Thanks.
We try to have your plants ready to ship within a couple of days of receiving your order and process and ship within a week. We usually ship on Monday and Tuesday so that the order will arrive during that week. Please contact us if you do not receive your order within two weeks.
As is the common practice, we ship our plants bare-root, allowing a day or so for the roots to heal before packing them. They'll be ready to pot as soon after receiving them as is convenient for you. However, unpack your order as soon as you receive them and allow them to be exposed to filtered light; and, please, notify us immediately if there is any damage from the shipping. You, of course, assume all responsibility for handling the plants with care, taking special care regarding spines and, sometimes, caustic sap.
We guarantee that the plants will be in good health when shipped and packaged in such a manner as to assure safe arival. We ship all year and pack the plants to protect them from some cold, but we cannot guarantee that they won't be damaged from prolonged freezing temperatures should such occur during transit. Our weather here in Portland is moderate during the winter and we will only ship if the local weather permits. If you order during the winter months, take your weather conditions into consideration as well. If you wish to protect the plants with a heat pack, we provide these at our cost: $2.00.
We ship by USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail; according to your instructions on the order form. The minimum charge for shipping and handling is $7.50 using USPS Priority Mail . Add 20% plus $8.00 to the order for USPS Express. "Postal Carrier Release" allows the postal carrier to deliver a large parcel to your residence when they would not otherwise, or to deliver Express Mail without a signature.
International orders are shipped via USPS express mail international at actual cost, and a $31.00 (USD) fee for the Phytosanitary Certificate applies.
Handling Charges: Handling charges are as follows:
- Orders of ten plants or less: $7.50.
Orders of 11 to 25 plants: $12.50.
- Orders of 26 or more plants: $15.00.
- Orders of 50 or more plants will be charged actual shipping costs.

Thanks for your understanding.
